When I think of Giovanni, I will always think of chocolate eggplant! It was SO AMAZING! I had it for the first time at Azalea after learning that it was his sister’s special recipe. If I remember the story correctly, it even won an award at the annual eggplant festival in Giovanni’s hometown! The next time I went to the restaurant, I was so excited to have it again. You can imagine my disappointment when it was no longer on the menu! Leave it to Libby and Giovanni to have the kitchen make it especially for me!
